Die russische Uhrenfabrik RAKETA Diese Uhren produziert der sogenannte "Petrodworzowy-Uhrenbetrieb", der sich in der gleichnamigen Stadt am finnischen Meerbusen befindet. (ca. 30 Km von St. Petersburg entfernt) Raketa bedeutet in Deutsch "Rakete" Es werden ausschließlich Herrenarmbanduhren Kaliber 26 mm mit 19 Steinen hergestellt. Diese Fabrik fertigt auch die legendären 24-Stunden-Uhren. Das Besondere an den 24-Stunden-Uhren ist, daß sich der Stundenzeiger nur einmal pro Tag um seine eigene Achse dreht. Es hatte einen besonderen Grund, warum diese Uhren hergestellt wurden. Im Ersten Weltkrieg waren die Soldaten oft über Tag und Nacht in ihren Gefechtsständen unter der Erde. Sie hatten keine Möglichkeit sich über den Tages- und Nachtzustand zu informieren. Neuere Uhren haben besitzen eine zweite Zeitzone, die über die untere Krone bei "8" manuell verstellt werden kann. Dadurch ist das leichte Umrechnen von Zeiten aus verschiedenen Kontinenten möglich. Daher nennt man diese Uhren auch Weltzeituhren. Die 24-Stunden-Uhren haben ein Gewicht von 44 Gramm, einen Gehäusedurchmesser von 40 mm, eine Höhe von 11,5 mm, stoßgesicherte monometallische vergoldete Unruh mit 18.000 Halbschwingungen, Kaliber 2623.H das in 19 Steinen gelagert ist, gepreßter Bodendeckel mit eingestanzter Nummer. Es gibt diese Uhren in vielen verschiedenen Varianten. mit einem inneren Ring mit verschiedenen internationalen Städten, einem inneren Ring mit nationalen Städten, verschiedene Zifferblattvarianten mit Militärmotiven, Jubiläumsuhren mit Zifferblattmotiven von verschiedenen kommunistischen Symbolen, der Entdeckung von Amerika usw.

1996 wurde die Produktion eingestellt - wurde erst küzlich wieder aufgenommen - mit einer Serie von einfachen Modellen. Die Uhren auf dieser Seite stammen noch aus früherer Zeit.

Die Maschine für die 24Stunden Uhren wurde gepfändet, um den Konkurs abzuwenden. Seither werden keine neuen 24Std Uhren mehr produziert.

RAKETA watches by "Petrodvoretz watch factory"

In 1701 the stone working factory was founded according to the regulation of the tsar Peter the Great. Since the beginning of the XIX century the factory has been producing the art pieces made of precious and semiprecious stones, conducted diamond cutting.

In 1930 the ruby stars for Moscow Kremlin towers have been produced by the factory. In 1932, on the base of that factory, the "Plant N1 was open. It was fit for production of precision technical stones. Since 1935 the factory was manufacturing the products for watch industry.

Since 1954 “Raketa” factory has become the leading watch manufacturer in Russia. The plant produces clock mechanisms which rank among the most reliable in the world. Mechanisms produced by “Raketa” factory designed to work in extreme conditions. They have been tested under the load that impressed Swiss specialists.

The unique clock mechanisms on 16 ruby stones are of high rate of precision and reliability. These mechanisms are admitted in Europe and in Japan. In 1972 in the International Leipzig Exhibition in Germany, “Raketa” factory gained the First Place in the tuff competition with the best world watch manufactures. In 1984 “Raketa” had a success on the European Exhibition in Bulgaria. In 1994 the factory was given the International reward “Golden Globe” for production of competitive high-quality products and integration in the world’s economy. Serial “Raketa’s” clock mechanisms are being installed in the watches of companies Seiko, Omega, Orient.

The watch factory is located in the city of Petrodvoretz (about 30 km. from St.Petersburg). This small suburban city is more known for its old palaces, parks and fountains
